This property, named the Fundacion Hermanos Landau Del Cid or The Landau Del Cid Brothers Foundation, free and clear property without leins or encumberences and held by the same area pioneering family for a hundred years or more. The property is located at the southern portion of Downtown Boquete in the province of Chiriqui, directly on Central Avenue coming from David. This Avenue is the extention of the 4 lane (being completed as of this writing) Highway from the provencial capital of David. Boquete is (and has been for a number of years) considered one of the top retirement destinations in the world.
The Boquete/David Highway (in Boquete named Central Ave) separates the two properties and the Domingo Médica (the Downtown) Park is located another 1000mts to the town center.
Heading into Boquete, Lot A with 5869.69m2 is located to the left of the Highway and the larger Lot B with 4 hectares + 1986.46m2 on the right side of the Highway. Historically the farm was joined but with the construction of Central Ave leading into Boquete, was divided into two parts, both are titled and recorded. Lot A has frontage on Central Ave. with 118.89 linear meters. At street level there is natural drain gradient towards this side of the property. Lot B is 187.64 linear meters on Central Ave. within 30 mts of the bus terminal, the Municipal Gym and a Gas Station. Natural drainage of Lot B is into several small creeks. In the area can be found Hostels, restaurants and other businesses and a further 600mts the offices of government public services. Those services include IDAAN (water delivery), Edemet Edechi (Electricity), Cable and Wireless (Telephone System) and additional paved streets with businesses.Throughout this area some small creeks help to drain the land.There are stands of trees of different types. The terrain is level with the ground being very furtile volcanic black colored earth.
The lots are valued at a price resulting from an inspection and valuation apprasial with the work performed by The Corporacion de Avaluos Y Bienes, Engineer Luis Ricardo Guerra M. on 29 May, 2009 and is offered at that valuation. Boquete is in need of a number of services to support the high economic level population including many foreign to Panama expatriat permanent residents numbering several thousand. A local hospital is one outstanding critical need. A major, luxury hotel would also fit well here. Offices and shops are also in very high demand.
