San Giovanni d'Asso. In the heart of Tuscany, in the territory that includes Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi arises this important estate, which construction goes back to XVI century. It lays on the uncontaminated territory covered by a marvelous constellation of parks and antique hamlets, little towns and castles framed in a beautiful landscape of gentle hills.
The hotel is situated in the Siena district in the area of S. Giovanni d'Asso, close to Pienza and Montalcino, which are pearls of medieval and renaissance architecture, with its cultural and historic heritage famous in the world attracting millions of tourists each year.
The property is surronded by the terriory of 110 hectars, of which 90 he are cultivated and consisting of 5 recently restored buildings. The large park has a night illumination system surrounding the buildings and it can boast an ancient roman bath in travertine stone. Inside the property we can find a spring with constant temperature of 27 C with two cosy little lakes with calcium sulfate with the presence of magnesium well-known for their beneficient effects on skin.
According to a thorough marketing research, the exhisting agroturismo complex will be renewed and enlarged in order to increase the quality and the receptivity. In the area where the estate is currently situated, will be made a thermal public centre of about 10 000 cubic meters, plus related open public spaces. There is a project of building a 5 star spa-hotel with 200 beds. The farm will be concentrated on production of certificated natural products.
